When you create or manage a seller account, we may process your name, login email address, business-seller status, company name, registration number and VAT/BTW information. Authentication data is handled through the website's account service. Seller-verification, public contact details, listing data, uploaded images and moderation information may also be processed when those features are used.
We use account information to provide and secure the service, operate seller accounts and the public marketplace, communicate about the account, prevent abuse and operate verification and moderation. Where required, processing will be based on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent or legal obligations as applicable.
The website uses hosting, serverless, storage and authentication infrastructure supplied by Netlify. Data may therefore be processed by service providers acting on our behalf subject to their applicable terms and data-protection arrangements.
We do not make private account data public merely because an account is created. For published stocklots, relevant business seller identity information and the seller-provided public contact email, optional public phone and optional website may be displayed so buyers can contact the seller directly. A login email is not intended to become public merely because an account exists. Seller accounts are reviewed as Business Sellers before stocklot submission access is enabled; this platform review is not a guarantee of a seller, stocklot or transaction.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the account, marketplace operation, security, dispute handling and legal obligations. Stocklot records and uploaded images may remain in platform storage until they are deleted through available account/admin controls or removed under our retention process. Retention periods will be reviewed as the service develops. We use access controls and platform security features, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data, and to complain to a competent supervisory authority. Account information can also be corrected through the account area where that feature is available.
The site may use technically necessary browser storage for authentication and account functionality. The website does not intentionally include advertising or behavioural-tracking scripts at this time. If analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking is introduced later, the privacy and consent setup should be updated before activation.
For privacy or account questions, including requests for access, correction or deletion, contact Vintage Stocklots through the contact details published on the website or reply to official account communications.
