Marketplace Terms

Public marketplace: approved stocklots from verified sellers may be publicly browsed. Buyers do not need an account and contact sellers directly. Vintage Stocklots does not own, sell, warehouse, ship or receive payment for the listed clothing and is not a party to the buyer-seller transaction.

1. Platform role

Vintage Stocklots provides an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of bulk vintage and second-hand clothing. Unless Vintage Stocklots explicitly states otherwise for a specific service, Vintage Stocklots is not the seller, owner or supplier of a third-party stocklot and does not become a party to the purchase agreement between buyer and seller.

2. Seller accounts

Buyers can browse public stocklots without an account. Seller accounts are available only to businesses and professional suppliers. Sellers must provide accurate business information, including registration and VAT/BTW details where required by the verification process. Vintage Stocklots may request additional information or change, restrict or suspend seller access where reasonably necessary.

3. Minimum lot size

Each submitted listing must represent at least 100 kg of clothing. Vintage Stocklots is intended for bulk stocklots rather than individual garments.

4. Seller responsibility

The seller is responsible for the legality and accuracy of a listing, including ownership, authenticity and brand claims, condition/grade, weight, estimated quantities, photographs, location, price and availability. Sellers must have the right to offer the goods shown.

5. Review and moderation

Vintage Stocklots may review, reject, unpublish, suspend or remove listings and accounts. Seller edits may return a listing to review before it can be republished. A platform review is not a guarantee of quality, authenticity, quantity, legality or seller performance.

6. Direct buyer-seller transactions

Buyers contact sellers directly using the seller contact details displayed on a published stocklot. Buyers and sellers arrange inspection, purchase terms, payment, VAT/taxes, transport, collection, returns and disputes directly with each other. Vintage Stocklots does not process payment for the clothing and does not become a party to the sale unless a future service explicitly states otherwise. Users should independently verify the counterparty and stocklot before committing funds.

7. Business sellers

Vintage Stocklots accepts Business Sellers and professional suppliers for seller accounts. Buyers and sellers remain responsible for complying with the laws, tax rules and commercial obligations that apply to their own transaction, status and location.

8. Platform fees

Vintage Stocklots may later introduce listing fees, subscriptions, featured placements or other marketplace service fees. No paid seller plan is active at this time unless explicitly offered and accepted.

9. Prohibited use

Users may not post unlawful, counterfeit, stolen or misleading goods; impersonate another person or business; misuse personal data; interfere with the platform; or use the service for fraud or other unlawful activity.

10. Reports and complaints

Users will be able to report listings or conduct that may violate these terms or applicable law. Vintage Stocklots may request evidence and take proportionate moderation action.

11. Liability

Vintage Stocklots does not guarantee that a third-party listing, seller, buyer or transaction will meet a user's expectations. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law. These terms should receive qualified legal review before broader commercial scaling or paid platform services are introduced.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated as marketplace functionality is introduced. Material changes may require renewed acceptance.

Important: the public marketplace supports public browsing and direct seller contact. The commercial terms, privacy documentation and seller obligations should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before broader commercial scaling or paid platform services are introduced.
